At Profit Blast in Louisville, a Focus on More Profitable Events

Derrick Myers, CPA, CFP, PFCI, president of Crockett, Myers & Associates, Inc., will present “Treasure Hunt: Finding Your Hidden Profits” at the Society of American Florists’ 1-Day Profit Blast in St. Louis.  Underwritten by Baisch & Skinner and DWF Wholesale, the event takes place on Saturday, July 22.

The president of the accounting firm of Crockett, Myers & Associates joins other floral industry experts in Louisville for this educational event underwritten by the Bill Doran Company. Their programs cover floral design, customer service, and social media:

  • “Tiny Houses, Big Design Opportunities.” Helen Miller, AIFD, CAFA, CF, will share strategies to connect with Millenials, explain how to set up a terrarium bar in your shop, and create chic designs perfect for small spaces in her presenation sponsored by Syndicate Sales.
  • “Build the Perfect Sales Script.” Tim Huckabee, president of FloralStrategies, LLC, will make mystery shopper calls to real florist shops.
  • “ABCs of Social Media Marketing.” Crystal Vilkaitis, founder of the Social Edge, will recommend strategies for promoting your shop on Facebook and Instagram.

During SAF’s 1-Day Profit Blast in Louisville, participants will have the opportunity to network with like-minded business owners and explore products in the Supplier Showcase.
