At safnow.org/prom, members can copy and paste social media messages and grab graphics to capitalize on SAF’s Prom Quiz to attract teen shoppers.

The Society of American Florists makes promoting prom flowers a snap with social media graphics and suggested posts — all free for SAF members at safnow.org/prom.

The graphics show corsages that illustrate each prom flower personality featured in the Prom Quiz on SAF’s consumer site, AboutFlowers.com/PromQuiz.

SAF’s 36 suggested social media messages are tailored specifically for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and urge followers to take the quiz to reveal their prom flower personality.

Messages include:

SAF is promoting the Prom Quiz on its consumer social media channels. “Busy florists can simply follow SAF’s lead by sharing our prom posts from Instagram.com/About_Flowers, Twitter.com/FlowerFactor and Facebook.com/AboutFlowers,” said SAF Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Sparks.

In addition, SAF is running paid social media promotions to drive traffic to the Prom Quiz. Last year, SAF’s campaign generated more than 2 million impressions with almost 142,000 visits to the Prom Quiz. “The campaign saw outstanding results and high levels of engagement by teens,” Sparks said.

“The message we want to get across to high schoolers is that flowers are the perfect way to highlight their personality and individuality,” Sparks said. “The Prom Quiz can help florists keep their shops top of mind among their social followers.”
