Have you been dinged by a bounced check? The Society of American Florists has an app to make collections a breeze, and Skip Paal, AAF, of the Rutland Beard Floral Group swears by it.
“I used ChecXchange to collect on a bad check from a customer,” said Paal, who is a featured speaker at SAF Palm Beach 2017. “Using the app was easy — I just took a picture and was done in less than 3 minutes. A week later, the funds were in my bank account.”
SAF partnered with Money Transfer Systems Inc., a leader in electronic check re-presentment and recovery, to bring members the checXchange Mobile™ App. The app is free and allows members to use their Android, iPhone or iPad to scan bounced non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks received and send them to checXchange’s processing center in a secure environment for recovery. The app returns 100 percent of recovered funds to the member’s bank account in seven to 14 days. Traditional recovery service is available, too. Members can instruct their banks to forward returned checks to checXchange. To learn more and download the app, go to checxchangemobile.com/saf.
