Everyone loves a winner. This month’s issue of Floral Management is flush with them. From the winners of SAF’s annual awards, to the floral industry’s highest honor, the Floriculture Hall of Fame enjoy reading about industry colleagues who should make you proud to to be in their peer group.
Some of the winners in the issue may just end up in your cooler: the winners of the annual SAF Outstanding Varieties competition. The competition drew 225 entries from 34 companies from Florida, Oregon, California, Ohio, Hawaii, Colombia, Ecuador and Israel. A panel of nine judges evaluated each entry for color and commercial appeal, stem and foliage, bloom form and size, and overall presentation.
