A great way to make your social media posts more personal is to feature employees and customers. SAF has several easy-to-implement ideas for Mother’s Day social media posts.

The two to three days before Mother’s Day are key buying days – stay top of mind with consumers by deploying some easy-to-implement social media posts that elevate the people and heart behind your shop’s brand.

Social posts that include people are proven to receive higher engagement rates. A great way to make your posts more personal is to feature employees and customers in addition to your shop’s beautiful flower images. Use these ideas to personalize and promote your business in the next few days.

  1. Create posts featuring your employees — through video, images or text to illustrate stories of your employees’ experiences as moms, or their memories of their mothers.
  2. Feature employees talking about their favorite flower, with a picture of them holding it, and describe what type of mother would appreciate that flower.
  3. Post a group picture of employees with each person holding a picture of their mom, and write about how special moms are in the caption. Invite customers to comment about their moms.
  4. Use your customers as your ambassadors. Ask customers if they’d like to be featured on your social media talking about their best memories of their mom. End the post with: “Do you have a special memory of your mom? Share it below or stop in the shop to tell us!”
