If you are having a hard time finding and keeping employees lately, you aren’t alone: The National Federation of Independent Business recently found that “22 percent of small employers who have hired an employee for their most-skilled position in the past two years have actually lowered the minimum requirements for applicants.” What’s more, according to that NFIB survey, “about a quarter of employers said they lowered requirements for the most-common, less-skilled positions.”
