The Society of American Florists’ annual feel-good initiative, Petal It Forward, is a chance for floral industry professionals to spread the power of flowers in their communities. This year’s event is just two weeks away – on Oct. 18. – but there’s still time to join in on the fun! SAF has instructions and resources to ensure a successful event.

1. Register your business. Make sure to register your business so SAF can provide optimal support to your team.
2. Coordinate with your team and partners. Craft a plan for your giveaway, including a schedule taking into account your team’s workload and availability and how you will use any volunteers.
3. Use SAF’s resources. SAF continues to update Petal It Forward resources online, including a sample press release, a sandwich board template, flower card templates, flower event messages and social media messages with shareable graphics.
