The Society of American Florists’ annual feel-good initiative, Petal It Forward, is a chance for floral industry professionals to spread the power of flowers in their communities. Want to join in on the fun? SAF has instructions and resources to ensure a successful event on Oct. 20.
- Save the date and register your business. Mark your calendars for Oct. 20 and register your business so SAF can provide optimal support to your team.
- Coordinate with your team and industry partners. Craft a plan for what you want to pass out and make a schedule for the day taking into account your team’s workload and availability. Remind your employees (and any partners helping you out on the day) of restrictions and safety protocols as they relate to social distancing and facial masks.
- Scout your resources. SAF continues to update Petal It Forward resources online. including a sample press release, face mask templates, a sandwich board template, flower card templates, flower event messages and social media messages with shareable graphics.
