The annual uBloom Trend Synthesis is now available. CEO J Schwanke, AAF, AIFD, PFCI, created the guide following months of research, which entailed studying showrooms at the Dallas Market Center, reading magazines, watching TV and scouring the Internet to determine what colors, shapes, textures, motifs, etc., are getting attention — and what’s actually available as products consumers can buy. “Looks evolve because of many factors — a need or desire, culture, causes, the entertainment world — but until you see a concept translated into fabric, upholstery, clothing or accessories, you can’t legitimately call it a trend,” he said.
The 2019 uBloom Trend Synthesis features four curated trends —“Cozy,” “Depth,” “Legendary” and “Monstera Madness” — displayed in a six-page, full-color PDF, which florists can download for free. Each trend has complementary videos, which will be introduced monthly on ubloom.com, as well as Pinterest boards.
