Imagine freeing up four work hours every week.
A 2024 report by Thomson Reuters, a global media and information services company, estimates that using generative AI will save workers as much as four hours per week — or 200 hours annually.
Floral professionals have a unique opportunity to tap into these time-saving advantages through two dynamic, AI-focused education sessions at the Society of American Florists’ Next Gen LIVE! event happening Feb. 23-25 in Dallas.
For those with little AI experience, the session, “Getting Started with AI: A Round Robin Journey Using Key Tools” will show them tools to use for floral design recipes, data analysis, and automated customer service.
Led by Jen Barnard, AAF, of Fifty Flowers; Tony Guerrie and Paul Guerrie of Flower Buddy; and Cameron Pappas, AAF, of Norton’s Florist, this interactive session explores how AI can simplify daily tasks and improve productivity.
“This hands-on approach ensures attendees leave with practical knowledge of AI programs tailored to their roles,” says Tony Guerrie.
The other session, “AI Unleashed: Elevate Your AI Skills for Captivating Content,” is geared towards professionals already familiar with AI tools. Award-winning marketer Ryan Black, AAF, of Jet Fresh Flower Distributors, recognized as SAF’s 2022 Marketer of the Year, will lead this advanced session on crafting standout marketing materials.
His in-depth session will teach attendees how to create captivating images, engaging content, and innovative design ideas that can be used by companies in every segment of the industry.
“This session is all about pushing creative boundaries with AI to produce marketing content that truly stands out,” says Black.
