Before the pandemic, Jennifer Barnard of Tillie’s Flower Shop in Wichita, Kansas, was a little hesitant to jump on Facebook Live. Now, she’s a daily presence on social media — sharing heartfelt messages with customers and promoting her business. “The pandemic has really pushed us to try new things and find new ways to communicate with customers,” said Barnard.
On June 25, she’ll share some of the new tactics and messages she’s embraced in the past three months during “Marketing Messages that Sell,” the final webinar in the Society of American Florists “Reignite Your Business” series. The session, sponsored by Teleflora, is live at 2 p.m. EDT and includes time for questions and answers. (Can’t make it at 2? You can watch this session, and all sessions in the series, after they’ve aired at your convenience.)
During the session, Barnard will talk more about how she’s promoted her family business throughout the pandemic by focusing on key messages, emphasizing the power of flowers and stepping outside of her comfort zone to deliver the content, products and services that resonate with customers and drive everyday sales.
