Women’s Day is March 8, just shy of three weeks away — plenty of time to shore up some sales. Here are a few ways to do it:
1. Mine your mailing list for Women’s Day prospects. E-mail last year’s Mother’s Day and Administrative Professionals Week customers with a special combo deal when they order a Women’s Day bouquet and pre-book 2016 Mother’s Day/APW flowers at the same time.
2. Pop a promo on your shop’s on-hold telephone message: “March 8 is International Women’s Day. Celebrate the wonderful women in your life with a Women’s Day Bouquet.“
3. Pre-schedule daily Women’s Day messages on Facebook. Make up your own, or steal the ready-made ones from SAF’s Women’s Day Resource Center.
