This year’s Petal It Forward will certainly look and feel different than past years but there are still ways to make your recipients feel safe. The Society of American Florists is providing templates, including outdoor signage, so you can encourage physical distancing while still hosting a successful PIF event in your community.
Mask template. Since most states require people to wear a mask while they are out in public, the new mask template will make it easier than ever for you to order new masks for your staff. Encourage your staff to wear their customized PIF face mask leading up to and on the day of your event.
Sandwich board template. Instead of passing out flyers to explain the event to people passing by, the sandwich board template will help them learn about the event from a distance.
Flower card templates. Trying to reduce face-to-face conversations between recipients and your staff? Print out flower cards and attach them to the pairs of flowers or bouquets that will give directions on how to participate to each recipient.
