“How did this make you feel? We have lots more to delight your senses. Come on by to stop and smell the flowers and experience a moment of calm. #stressawarenessmonth #stressless #flowerpower www.aboutflowers.com/stressless”
That’s just one of the nearly two dozen ideas members can copy, paste and post from the Society of American Florists’ Stress Awareness Month Social Media Content Calendar.
Stress Awareness Month, observed annually in April, is when health officials and news outlets highlight the dangers of stress and ways to relieve it. SAF makes it easy for members to bring attention to their shops and the stress-reducing power of flowers with a weekly social media content calendar geared toward Stress Awareness Month.
The content calendar includes suggested posts for sharing the results from “The Impact of Flowers on Perceived Stress Among Women,” a study commissioned by SAF and conducted at the University of North Florida, which proves living with flowers can significantly reduce stress.
Capitalize on Stress Awareness Month using SAF’s suite of tools for members, including sample press releases, promotional strategies and more. Members can access them through the StressLess Online Resource Center at safnow.org/stressless.
