When visiting safnow.org, you might notice three new faces popping up to help via LiveChat. In January, SAF welcomed three new staff members — Membership Specialist Kimberly Hay, Member Services Coordinator Claire Meskers and Director of Finance and Administration Lynn Craig.
“Kimberly, Claire and Lynn bring a wealth of talent, expertise and enthusiasm to the SAF team and will help us deliver even more value to members,” CEO Kate Penn said.
With 16 years of membership and customer service experience, Hay will focus on making sure SAF members get what they need, like quick answers to questions or new products and services. Meskers joined SAF on a temporary basis in August to pitch in amidst a few staff departures and has proved to be an invaluable member of the team, so as a member services coordinator she’ll support member services and SAF’s growing events department. (Meskers also has a strong connection to the floral industry, as the daughter of SAF Chairman Martin Meskers, AAF, of Oregon Flowers Inc., in Aurora, Oregon.) Craig’s more than two decades experience in finance and human resources will be a great asset to SAF’s operations.
