Lovingly Launches Online Security Campaign

Supplier Expo exhibitor - lovinglyThrough its Security With a Capital S campaign, Lovingly is working to educate florists about online security and to provide access to secure sites that protect retailers and give confidence to consumers. “Attempting to explain the difference between HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), in terms of how it can affect online businesses, could seem like a daunting task,” reads a Lovingly press release, but the company says it’s determined to bring awareness to the issue. “Lovingly’s own recent survey showed that less than 2 percent of top provider domains across North America are secure,” said Joe Vega, Lovingly co-founder and managing partner. “We protect all our partner florists and their customers with HTTPS, so we were surprised.” Read more.
