Chances are you have a bride (or 10) using garden roses for her nuptials this summer. And, more than likely, you’ll end up with a few spare stems when all the design work’s done.
This month in Floral Management, Tom Sebenius, owner of The Arrangement Floral Design and Events, shares his “upscale cooler cleaners.” |
That’s what New York City florist Tom Sebenius, owner of The Arrangement Floral Design and Events experiences on a weekly basis. So every Monday, he comes up with what he cheekily calls “upscale cooler cleaners”: specials that feature unused garden roses from the weekend’s wedding(s). The designs take no more than 10 minutes to arrange and consistently sell out — at price tags starting at $95.
Sebenius advertises the garden rose specials exclusively on Facebook and Instagram, and says they’re great for making quick, easy sales, as well as establishing himself as a fashionable florist who uses special, high-end product.
