Deck the halls? Why not the studio?
This week, Teleflora kicked off a month-long partnership with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” turning the set of the popular morning TV news show into a floral winter wonderland.
“What about our studio right now?” said anchor George Stephanopoulos, as the studio audience cheered. “All these great flowers. We are ready for Christmas.”
The partnership is part of the company’s “Love Out Loud” campaign, which encourages consumers to share holiday stories and memories using #LoveOutLoud.
Starbright Floral Design in New York City will work with Teleflora throughout the month to fill the set with flowers, delivering flowers every Monday and Wednesday at around 4 a.m.
“It’s a really nice project,” said Nic Faitos, senior partner, who has worked with Teleflora on a number of public relations campaigns over the years. “I love the Love Out Loud hash tag, and I’m going to get some social media mileage on my own from this.”
Carol Caggiano, AIFD, PFCI, worked with the show’s set designer to create the set décor and Sean Beckert of Falconer Florist in Port Washington, New York, helped style the bouquets for Monday’s kick-off.
“Good Morning America” is currently the country’s top-rated morning show.
