Commercial accounts represent a profitable market. Not only do you have a great product and service, you have the best sales tool possible to convince businesses why they need flowers — university research that proves flowers and plants benefit the bottom line. How do you connect with corporate clients?

The Society of American Florists makes it easy for members to educate current and prospective corporate clients about how flowers enhance the workspace and boost employee morale. As part of its Two-Minute Trends Resource Center, SAF provides members with two suggested email texts — one targeted to business clients and the other geared specifically toward interior designers and architects.

The Suggested Email to Business Clients about Two-Minute Trends points out the Texas A&M University research that shows workers’ idea generation and problem solving improves in workplace environments that include flowers and plants. The message includes a link to SAF’s “Two-Minute Trends: Creativity & Problem Solving” video featuring interior designer Kelli Ellis and color expert Mark Woodman, and showcasing trends on the benefits of flowers in the workspace.

The Suggested Email to Interior Designers and Architects about Two-Minute Trends focuses on how flowers inspire emotions and enhance commercial and residential spaces. It also highlights SAF’s university research on flowers and well being, and it links to all seven of the Two-Minute Trends videos to provide this key demographic with ideas to help them “wow” their clients.

SAF’s Two-Minute Trends Resource Center is thanks to the Architectural Design of Flowers program — created in partnership with Asocolflores — to educate the media, interior design community, and consumers about the scientific benefits of living and working among flowers, as well as color trends for residential and commercial spaces. The program includes the series of seven “Two-Minute Trends” videos, featuring Ellis and Woodman, as well as accompanying floral photography.

SAF members can capitalize on the program to promote their shops and educate consumers about how flowers inspire emotions and enhance interior spaces through the Two-Minute Trends Resource Center accessible at safnow.org/twominutetrends. Along with the suggested emails, members have access to professional videos to share, high-quality floral photography, and suggested social media posts.

The Architectural Design of Flowers program and Two-Minute Trends videos are made possible thanks to funding by longtime SAF PR Fund supporter Asocolflores. All of SAF’s consumer marketing programs are a result of the SAF Fund for Nationwide Public Relations. For more information on who is supporting the fund visit, safnow.org/prfund.
