Turn Social Media Comments Into Qualified Leads

What if one word in an Instagram comment could turn a casual follower into your next customer? For florists looking to generate more leads without spending hours responding to social media messages, a simple automation tool could be a game changer.

Sarah Campbell, owner of Intrigue Designs in Annapolis, Maryland, has discovered how to turn social media engagement into meaningful business opportunities using keyword comment automation. The technology automatically sends a direct message when someone comments a designated word on a post, delivering everything from booking links to special offers.

“Social media can sometimes feel like you’re pushing content into a void,” Campbell says in the September/October issue of Floral Management. “Comment automation finds the people who want what you’re sharing.”

The results speak for themselves. A recent campaign promoting Campbell’s floral retreat in the Netherlands generated hundreds of comments and qualified leads for just 20 available spots.

And the strategy isn’t limited to luxury events. Florists can use keyword automation to promote available wedding dates, share floral care guides or connect customers with special offers — all while capturing interest at the moment it peaks.

Read “Key the Automation” in the September/October issue of Floral Management to learn how to use keyword comment automation to spark customer conversations, attract qualified leads and turn social media engagement into business opportunities.
