A child’s first steps. Learning to ride a bike. High school graduation. Teleflora’s new Mother’s Day commercial, “Never Walk Alone,” captures the small and monumental moments that define a mother’s love — even when that love isn’t fully appreciated until years later.
The spot, launched April 28, is built around a simple but emotional truth: more than half of Americans admit they didn’t truly appreciate their mom until adulthood, according to a new national survey commissioned by Teleflora and conducted by Kantar.
Set to a cover of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Academy Award-nominated artist Abraham Alexander, the commercial follows a young boy and his mom through different stages of life. Through hospital visits, school celebrations, and quiet moments at home, the ad shows how mom was there every step of the way.
“There’s no better time than Mother’s Day to show mom how much she means to you,” Danielle Mason, vice president of marketing at Teleflora, said in a news release. “As kids, we rarely see the countless ways she made our lives easier. But once we’re navigating our own adult challenges, we realize the depth of her love and support.”
The campaign, developed by The Wonderful Company’s in-house team at Wonderful Agency, continues Teleflora’s tradition of celebrating mothers with authentic, heartfelt storytelling. It is airing on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, NBCU Peacock, and Lifetime, supported by targeted streaming ads across premium content channels.
The ad is accompanied by Teleflora’s collection of floral arrangements presented in a keepsake container.
“Because when you have a mother’s love,” Mason said, “you’re never truly alone.”
