From tracking deliveries in real time to streamlining social media posts, today’s florists are using business apps to save hours each week — and scale smarter.
At WildFlower Stem + Sundry in Maryland, owner Christine Guenther, AAF, has made Slack a condition of employment, using more than 60 active channels to coordinate events, manage pricing, and even share puppy photos.
“Slack is the lifeblood of our company,” Guenther says in the July/August issue of Floral Management. “It’s been key to building our culture and keeping our three locations connected.”
Other florists are leaning on apps like Meta Business Suite for hands-off social scheduling, LiveChat for instant customer support, and Verizon Connect for maximizing delivery routes. The result: fewer missed details, happier customers, and more time to focus on high-value work.
