While the Society of American Florists kept busy this year responding to negative holiday ads for Mother’s Day, the association also took time to say thanks to companies that lifted up floral gifts in their ad campaigns.
Among those boosters? Scooter’s Coffee. On its coffee cups, the franchise company, which has locations in 15 states, asks customers, “How Will You Be Amazing Today?” One suggestion: “Send Flowers to Your Mom.”
“On behalf of the entire floral industry, thank you for reminding your customers about the joy of giving flowers,” wrote SAF in a note to the company.
Kim, a customer service rep replied: “It is so fun to pay it forward….and sending flowers is definitely one beautiful way to do this! I know I sure do love both sending and receiving flowers of any kind. 😊 Again, thank you for taking notice! We wish you and your industry all the best as you work to make this world a more beautiful place!”
