Five students from two universities were presented cash awards totaling $1,800 for their presentations at the Bryson L. James Student Competition held during the 62 Southern Nursery Association (SNA) Research Conference. During the conference, SNA officers who will serve for the 2018 term also were elected during the 119th Annual SNA Business Meeting held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The election, open to all active SNA members, determines representation from the four geographic regions of the association. Norman Cole III of Cole Nursery, Pipestem, West Virginia, was elected president succeeding Dusty Knight of Plantation Trees in Selma, Alabama. Read more. www.sna.org
