Arizona Flower Market Food Donation Project

For its annual “Flowers for Food” donation last month, Arizona Flower Market partnered Arango Green Growers to raise food donations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

In Phoenix, Arizona, one floral industry business spent the run-up to Thanksgiving ensuring community members had enough to eat.

For its annual Flowers for Food event last month, Arizona Flower Market partnered with Arango Green Growers to collect food donations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The company gave out 10,000 sunflowers in exchange for 10,000 food items.

“Giving back to the community is an essential part of our mission at Arizona Flower Market,” said Arizona Flower Market Owner Brad Denham.

This is the company’s second year hosting the Flowers for Food event. This year’s effort also led to positive PR — in the form of some glowing media coverage.
